The Youth Development Service – Hastings and Rother – delivers targeted educative programmes for young people aged 13-25 years.  The Connexions Service provide Personal Advisors in secondary schools, supporting young people around education, training and employment as well as the One-Stop Shop in Hastings which is accessible by young people for information and advice on any issue concerning them.

The detached team work with young people in a variety of settings at different locations across Hastings including Positive Futures which works with targeted young people to encourage them to take part in sporting activities.

The Health project operates from the One-Stop Shop, providing a confidential sexual health drop-in – offering information, advice and support, including pregnancy testing, emergency contraception and condom distribution. 

Currently open Mon-Thurs 3-7pm and Sat 2-5pm.

GLYSSN – Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual Young People’s Network for under 26 year olds – Meets fortnightly – 2nd & 4th Wednesday of each month – at the One-Stop Shop.

CHAT – Listening service at the One-Stop Shop – every Tuesday 3.30 – 6.30pm – for young people aged 13-16 to discuss a problem or something that is worrying them.  Phone 01424 447033 or call into One-Stop Shop to make an appointment.

Futures After Birth – Support group for young mums aged 16-19 years on any issues they have, but in particular about education, employment and training.  Contact Miriam Banister on 01424 425780.
